I am offering my Vixen VC 200 L dg for sale. Price $1000 .
brief spec ;.
Comes with original Vixen flip mirror and standard Vixen dovetail.
It is a 200mm dia f/9, 620mm long catadioptic made by Vixen in Japan. Very similar to a SCT but without a corrector plate. Weight 6Kg.
Focus is achieved with a rack and pinion focuser at the back of the tube. Mirror is fixed so no mirror flop, no need to lock the mirror.
Is was designed for flat field photography but is also good for visual work.
Mirrors are excellent.
I am its second owner and used it for Astro photos using a Canon camera.
Pick up only, scope is in Geelong.

Mmmmmm.. Good point price $1000, Age is probably about 5 years, Vixen still sell the VC 200 L, which is very similar.

Yes it comes with a Vixen finder, can,t answer your optics question, either by looking on the tube or at the specs on the net.

thanks, can you tell me the condition of the primary(maybe a photo with the primary in focus). i am told they are prone to fungus if not stored correctly or left dusty and the only way to re cote is to send to Japan and that is expensive i believe
