Hi everyone
I think I'm slowly getting my head around Photoshop. I have reprocessed NGC 253. Any comments and/or suggestions are most welcome. :D

8" Newt Astrograph F/4
6 x 2 minute subs
iso 1600
Pentax K-x DSLR
Unguided EQ6pro.

That's a good shot , nice work mate:thumbsup: maybe a bit of noise reduction and sharpening and she'll pop.

Thanks for the advice, yes it looks a little blurred. So I have sharpened the picture and used noise ninja.

Nice image Paul but you still need to put a little more into getting your focus better. Focus is noticeable with both the dust lane mottling and the diffraction spikes width. Great effort. A bit more exposure would also make a world of difference.

Hi Doug,
Yes I took this photo before I purchased the focusing mask. My method now is to use live view and focus on a bright star. I mag the live view to it's largest multiplier and use the focusing mask. I seem to get better results but still things aren't perfect.
