In case anyone is looking for a quick way of determining Latitude and Longitude for an observing site, I noticed this link on Cloudy Nights.

Hope it proves handy for some folks! :)

Cheers

Thanks Chris. I've been looking for this particular kind of map for awhile, as I lost it out of my favorites!

Cheers.

Thanks Chris, I've bookmarked it.

Beats waiting for Google Earth to load

Handy but it does seem to be using Google Earth as it's source. And my Dark Site does not have an 'address' as such. It's a carpark up in the hills. New sites I will take the GPS with me cos never know when you will find a handy site. Sth Island next year should be fun.

G'day Brent,

You don't need to enter an address, just zoom in on the map and click on your location, even in the middle of Riverhead Forest, Auckland.

Cheers
