For sale is my Meade 10" LX200 Classic.

The scope was bought new from the US about 10 years ago. There are a few minor marks on the OTA and a dent in the dust cover (stood on in the dark). The optics are excellent.

Comes with:
Meade 1.25" diagonal and 26mm Plossl eyepiece
Losmandy counterweight set and 2 custom weights (1Kg and 2Kg approx)
EZTelescope focuser
RS232 cable
Camera piggyback adapter
8 X 50 finderscope
Original instructions and packaging

There is NO tripod.

$2100, buyer pays freight or pick up.

:eyepop:Hi Funkytas thse are an awsome scope and at this price even without a tripod its a deal . BUT!! these are very big and heavy , and for a beginner ? As I say A lot of scope , so its up to you mate ,

This scope is still sitting here packed in its box. It needs to go to a good home and be used.

Is there any interest at the new price of $1400.

im new at this
i want to be able to use a CCD is it possible to add to this scope?
want to look mainly at comets, asteroids take some deep sky pics
any help would be helpful!!

Still for sale, same price.

Not sure about tripod price. They sometimes come up here, have a look back through the sold archives. Bintel or the like may sell suitable new ones.

Tower Hill is near Warrnambool. Shipping to Geraldton could be quite expensive!
