We're heading back to Oz to catch up with the family over Xmas, my wife would like to bring her iPad and connect to any available 3G network.
Here in the UK it's possible to get a "pay as you go" 3G sim card for the iPad; minimum one month.
Can I get a similar sim card in Oz???
Any recommendations??

Yes, you can do the same here in Oz. Telstra, Optus, Vodaphone and 3 are the big players. You just buy a prepaid Sim. Optus and Vodaphone seem to offer the most flexible deals. I use Optus, Telstra has the best coverage but you pay a premium compared to the other providers.

www.telstra.com (or www.bigpond.com - same "company" different branch)

Telstra is $30 for the sim and 3gig one month expiry. Top-up is dependent on data, 3gig again is $30

Use Telstra if your thinking of venturing out of the cities and into the rural areas.
Cheers Kev.

Thanks guys.
Sounds like she'll be OK for 3G and the ipad.
