Had an awesome night last night, Colin you are a gentle and a scholar thanks for the great company.

Even though i seem to attract Huge Killer Wolf spiders like a magnet everytime i go astronomising i still managed to snag this nag before the honorable minister Mr Moon paid his respects.

Can't wait for the weekend first saturday off in ages, hoping some WA boys are heading to tammin? Gonna hit the Horsehead all night and see the difference in quality with more data than this shot.

We're being spoiled with some great horse heads lately! Nice work, especially your 2nd rendition.

Stupid question maybe... but are all of the diffraction spikes real? Some seem out of place in the 1st one, though in the 2nd one they seem much more natural...

First was overly processed to the hilt and added star spike layer on a couple of stars, second is natural with no layering or spikeys, very little processing at all really, just levels and a bit of sharpening, that's it.
