Just a few spider shots from the rear garden taken on the weekend. Amazed to find such a variety of different beasties to shoot :)

Nice shots Adam. I love the composition of the 2nd one and the look on the spiders face!

Cheers

Cheers Ken, they are indeed. I nicknamed the little green one "Kermit". It was difficult to get a decent shot as it kept hiding between the leaves and blended in so well. :)

Thanks Dennis, was pretty stoked to get a few shots of that one. I've seen a few other species around the garden so can't wait to get some time to explore a bit more :)

Nice sequence - no 2 wins it for me in terms of impact with those 2 big eyes. Well done.

Nice series Adam! That spider very much resembles the tiny 5mm long jumping spiders in my yard, only with longer legs.

Cheers Baz, I've seen a couple of different varieties of jumping spiders around, felt pretty lucky to have captured that fella :)

Cheers Ian, when you look up close these fellas seem to have eyes all over the place :)

Adam,

Fabulous images. Love the bright and vibrant greens. I also enjoy the fact that you have visible grain in the images. Noise is a good thing sometimes.

Hi Daniel, I use a Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro on a Canon 450D.

Cheers H, think the noise is a by-product of using the Topaz Detail plugin to give a bit of a boost to the contrasts. Still learning this craft :)

Cheers Chris, I hope I can find this little fella again :)
