WOW!

What's to improve. That is stunningly clear! Nice sharp focus.

Nice work Heath.

Very nice detail, maybe a Tad overexposed noticed the bright section at the top. Otherwise very well done.

Strange, there is no bright area at top on my monitor.
All is a nice balanced contrast.

That's a good thing to look for on different monitors

Hi Heath,

Nice pic. What gear are you using? If possible, zooooom in and catch smaller regions - always fascinating to see each new post of moonage.

Richard:thumbsup:

I am on a different monitor although the same laptop this time and yes the image is not blown out as I thought. I will have to do some adjustments.

Your gear info might help a bit more.

Reduce the gamma a bit.

Hi all,

Thank you for your comments and advice. I took these through a 105 ap refractor, afocal with a cannon DSLR. Captured in RAW.

Not sure if stacking will help?

Or perhaps barlowing?

Thanks H

Actually from your gear info, this is a brilliant capture. Try Prime focus if you can it places less lensing in front of the camera.

Have a go at RAW Chromatic Aberation adjustment in Digital Photo Professional. I have never tried it on moon shots as I use a reflector but may work and give some improvements. Maybe it is my monitor but I see and ever so small blue tinge in the picture.

I find that stacking doesn't help me, I take a few shot but I process the best single image of them via registax "Wavelet's" and levels. Although with aFocal this may help, again as I use a reflector so it is difficult for me to say yay or nay.
