Bah, that's old hat, I sent this (http://www.pbase.com/strongmanmike2002/image/107605167/original)to Peter Ward two years ago when he thought my Eta Carina image I had posted was a bit low res and pixilated ...meant tongue in cheek of course

Cool Mike.

Here's my best attempt ever at it, compared to a Hubble image

There is a more polite "Thumbs up" somewhere in the sky. I grabbed this low-res image from somewhere.

Fantastic example of a celestial offensive gesture, too bad it can't seen visually it would be pretty funny to do a sketch of it :D

I wouldn't just sketch it, I would drag the family out of bed to see it

Rather than imagine sketching this offensive cloud of gas and dusk, I decided to actually do it while out on a recent observing safari with a couple of my homeboys.

Given the larikanism present in your scetch notes ...just checking, are those seeing, transparency and limiting mag figures for real ??:eyepop: If so, wow where exactly is that location..? That shoud have been imaged man!

Nice hand made image
