i have a wedding to attend to... but im keen as mustard to crack the scope out again its been wayyy too long.. ill see how i go at the wedding if im not there too late ill make an appearance. i just dont know what time it will be

Clear enough to see the horsehead (poor thing)
especially with a bit turkey in the belly

as with ALL our nites at the pony club - stars are a bonus

we only get one nite to have a xmas party - the rest of the year to see stars

at this point in time, i would say telescopes are optional on the nite

(but someone at least bring a pair of bino's)

Yes Geoff,
nice to catch up with everybody again.
A particular highlight of the night for me was watching Rick doing an alignment and putting his Orion X14i though its paces, from within the safety of his boot!
Then there was the "Raid" by the Pony Club inspectors, not used to seeing white lights on ib their clubhouse! :)
Great night! Shame about the darker than usual skies!
Thanks to everyone who brought copious tasty morsels.

Went to Bluetongue to watch the CC Mariners beat Sydney FC 4 - 0. Whoo hoo !!!:cool: :cool::cool:.
Was definitely better than seeing them lose against Brisbane 5 - 1 the week before:sad:.
By the time I got my son home I was feeling pretty frazzled so I settled on getting some :zzz2::zzz2::zzz2:
Hopefully I make it for the next one.:thumbsup:.

I am glad to hear you had a good time. Id really like the oppourtunity (sooner rather than later) to meet the other "Centralcoastians" and get a chance to put my scope through its paces. (Would love to come up this weekend if its fine)
I do have to apologise for the weather, you see , all this cloudy stuff started the day I bought it 4 weeks ago.
It started to clear Friday after my shiney new Meade decided to have a hissy fit, and looked like it might clear for Saturday night until Don at Bintel repaired it that afternoon.
Ill take to it with a hammer this week if you think it might help?
