Got out last night in fairly average seeing.

However, there was the opportunity to capture a double transit of Ganymede and Europa. Interestingly Europa is showing a nice phase of nearly first or last quarter in the image.

Certainly nice to see this sort of thing.

A very fine image for the conditions Paul, even some albedo shading on Ganymede. The LRS in the NNTrZ is well defined and the barge just south of it is extremely crisp, overall I would think a most satisfying result.

A wonderful image Paul

The moons look amazing, what focal lengths are you using to capture them?

Top stuff

Thanks all.

Ric I am working around 11700mm at present. I want a larger format camera with giga download. These type of camera's are in development but not ready yet. I want to image at nearly 23000mm for Jupiter in the future.
