When looking through my Telrad, the graticle appears as 3 or 4 distinct units slightly offset, giving the appearance of looking down a tunnel.I have taken it appart and can find no obvious problem. In fact when off its mount and held up to the eye it looks ok.put it back on its mount and the problem occurs.Any answers would be appreciated.

Any chance you could supply a picture of the problem, on initial read that when it's off the mount it's ok and it's wrong when it's back on is that it might be twisted when on the mount I don't have evidence for that it is just a hunch.

Hi Warren, thanks for the suggestion. No it,s not twisted or under pressure when mounted. The only thing i can think of is its my angle of view when looking through it when mounted. However, it seems to have a wide tolerance unmounted.I do wonder if its the lens loose or the moeveable lower mirror - they do seem ok though.Very strange!

Hi Stewart,
Are you by any chance wearing glasses when you use the Telrad?
I wear multi-focals and that causes the problem you are describing.
Cheers
