Hi,

Well its time again more moon shot from various people. On a ASWA Lunar viewing night on Saturday, good night but viewing was quite poor. I think we experience some volcanic dust from Indonesia.
Nice wide angle shot but the rest were difficult but fortunately a total of about 100,000 frames to work with. Spent nearly all Sunday processing and today identifying them.

Anyway a few close ups as well. Some good most reasonable.

The close-up are showing barlow issue so i will be spending a bit of dough to buy a Powermate and a electric focuser soon.

As usual DOB 12" EQ Platform 3 x Barlow and no wind

Hi Malcolm,

I like the full disc image - I especially like the view of Mare Marginus to Mare Smythi right on the limb!

You've had a busy weekend. The widefield shot is great, has a nice natural look to it. Of the close ups the last one looks best to me. You certainly covered a lot of ground with them all.

Hi,

Went on the Registax website to learn a more advanced method of and there it was the best tutorial i have seen. Managed to extract more detail and then created a mosaic from the 1st, 2nd and last AVI.

One almost full day and an overheated laptop :mad2: later got it done. The middle section came out the best.

Image had to be reduced to upload, one day i will get an online presence.
