This thread is for all your "rejects" from the November Photo Challenge... all the fences and gates that didn't quite make it...

Here's mine, all from Sofala yesterday. Feel free to add your own.:)

I have 2GB of rejects, but none on this occasion. One chance only... let the judges decide.

Ah .. thanks, Chris.

I keep coming back to the razor wire … the pattern kind of hypnotised me.
There's been plenty of dark cloudiness about to create the mood as well.

I nearly fell into the water trying to get the right angle for the white fence/drainage channel ! …. Swingin' by one arm I was !!

Cheers (and many thanks for your words of encouragement).

Thanks Warren. Nearly broke my leg getting that one, too.

I was swinging by my pinky whilst standing on a wall about five feet up. The ledge I had under me was only wide enough for my toes !! I only had one hand left for the camera and about 10 seconds of time to line it up before the pain got to me !

Man .. this stuff can get a bit dodgy !

Its a bit like your story about your (fabulous) tilt train shot ! Lucky you didn't get bowled over there, fella !

.. Fantastic photo that one too, by the way, Warren ! Well done ! Great stuff!

Cheers & Rgds

Thanks everyone for making me feel welcome here.

Hi All,

Here's my (tongue-in-cheek) John West for this month.

Yes, its a fence ... after a fashion. Built to keep rabbits out I believe.

Have got a proper entry too. Will post in the next day or so.

Best,

Les D

Here is the rest of my short list.

1. A wider view of my entry
2. A view along Mary St, not happy with the glare from the overcast sky.
3. Edward St entrance... Thought it was a bit too chotic.
4. Jacobs Ladder to Wickham St, the real one according to the Bible is the "Gateway to Heaven". A bit tricky to get this one without anyone on the stairs, just snapped this one off.
5. I liked the look of this branch supported in the park with a fence to protect the supports.
6. A part of the fence near the Old Wind Mill on Wickham Tce.
7. The Windmill standing above a fence.
8. A fence, gate, and a city landmark.
