OOOH! I just had my first ebay experience!.
I recently asked for some advice here, and was really well helped out by IIS
members-(some seem very experienced!)And certainly got a great deal of
helpful advice, that would have taken me months to figure out.
My friend who wanted this fishing reel started it all,we found the model he wanted for $55 which we both thought was pretty good,as included postage. So he gave me the money, and I joined up to ebay and pay pal.
Checked a a few things out, found out the seller puts them up for auction,so went into that, and ended up with his reel for $37! includes postage and insurance from Vic.
Oh,what a hoot!,I can see it certain circumstances that ebay is most useful,in this instance the chap previously owned the same model.
One chap did give good advice in the other thread, one would'nt just go on ebay looking around-one would in up broke!,It appears if you know exactly what your after-can be most useful-and save money.
Just one question-do pay pal charge a monthly account fee like a bank on your account?or how much per payment on ebay?
Thanks IIS members fro helping with advice on joining ebay!.Now my friend has his reel at a great price, and money left over for pilchards and prawns!
Cheers Chris:thumbsup:
