Stuck

Hi there everyone. I'm just wondering about the snake valley astro camp. I had planned to go with a friend, but shes pulled the plug on me. I'm not that comfortable in new groups on my own, so my husband has suggested he come with me so i still get at least one night there, the only problem is that we have a three yr old son that would have to come with us. I know theres going to be a heck of a lot of expensive equipment there and i wouldn't want to make anyone uncomfortable by having him there but he is very well behaved and my hubby would be watching him as he's not really that interested in astronomy, he's just said he'll come so that i don't miss out. What do you guys think?
