Rise of Taurus

long time ago that I postet here. But you know... time is money... ;)

Here is a view of the rise of the constellation taurus above the woods at the AVSO http://www.avso.de (http://www.avso.de/)

Aldeberan was so brilliant but somehow "alone". So I decided to fool around a bit with Photoshop. ;)

Mike you are right. The drawing is in fact out of Starry Night. I tried it with the drawings from Stellarium also, but it appeard to be to infantile.

I don´t know if it was very creative, I would bet somebody did it already before me.
But anyhow it is a nice method to make images of constellations more expressive and I think it won`t be the last time I used it. :)

I dream of a photographic view of all constellations, which are visible at my location in that style.
Would be cool and I´ll give it a try!
