It'll be 7:40 AM on 02/11 Canberra/Sydney time, so, that works out quite well -- can watch it live on spacevidcast.com in HD before going to work.
Thanks for the reminder -- didn't realise it was so close.

Brent,
The NASA TV link is delayed by a couple of minutes. The SpaceVidCast link is live and in HD. : D

Thanks for the info, H. I was planning to watch it on NASA TV but if it isn't live, even if it's for a few minutes, it loses some of it's 'magic', doesn't it?
spacevidcast.com added to favourites!
Cheers, Luis.

From home if possible if my ISP gets their finger out and do something about my internet speed.
Paying for 8Mbs getting <100k for the last week or so. Not happy Jan.

Matt,
I think Obama approved another flight. I'm hoping for an STS-135 (and, beyond!).

What a pity... seems to be that NASA has changed the day of the lift off. It'll be on Tuesday at 16:17.
Here's what the official site says:
Discovery Targeted to Launch Tuesday at 4:17 p.m.
The launch of space shuttle Discovery is targeted for Tuesday, Nov. 2, at 4:17 p.m. EDT.
Managers are meeting to discuss the plan to repair helium and nitrogen leaks in the pressurization portion of space shuttle Discovery’s right-hand Orbital Maneuvering System (OMS) pod. The leaks must be fixed before launch and the decision was made to delay picking up the launch countdown by at least a day.
Since the scheduled launch day fell close to election day, NASA Test Director Jeff Spaulding said the launch team members have been encouraged to take advantage of early voting or absentee ballot options so they could take part in the elections.

Well, could be worse Bart! Although 4am isn't a comfortable time to see a lift off :/
For those who want to know more about the delayed, here's a link from NASA television: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_zW1iCNEWo It's 24 minutes long, a bit long but complete.
