I think this is the undeniable proof that weather patterns are indeed driven by a sentient being and it's got a chip on its shoulder about Sydneysiders :P

I concur Marc. My scope hasn't seen the stars for months (mainly due to the weather) after two great weekends, this one will be a bust......AGAIN!!:mad2::sadeyes::(. ........:lol::lol::lol:

You need to make a sacrifice to the sentient being Marc.
Usually I find a 60mm refractor will suffice.
scope+softball bat=clear skies

Not wrong there. Picking a night is quickly becoming a necessary skill.

I have two ducks. Would that work? But then again I need the eggs...

Your kids would kill you if you even looked side ways at those ducks Marc.
Better to put up with the cloud and rain buddy.

You could always throw the eggs at the sky.

Well it turned out the forecast did slightly evolve over time and this bunch of localised clouds formed offshore and moved out to sea quickly. So the skies were clear. ... and the ducks are safe. :P

Well a good-sized scope would cloud up your monitor and you might even get rain on your keyboard.
