Hi all,
Startrails during the Orionid Meteor shower on the 19th of October, 2010. Unfortunately Dew set in over my lens which resulted in the trails fading.

It's very good - the fading star trails are very effective.
Agreed! :)
If you hadn't told us, we'd all still be trying to work out how to get that nice effect.....

I love this one.
Print it, Frame it and whack it on the wall in the pool room.

Great Pic!
Almost looks like the stars are the meteors!
I know meteors mainly go in straight lines....but these could be the ones ( I forget the name) that have an erratic or curved trail!

This was using a Canon 400D, Canon 17-40mm F4L USM Lens, Micnova interval timer remote, and a tripod. Took approx 110 photo's at 35s each. Dew covered the lens which formed the fading effect. All lighting was from the setting moon to the Left of the image.
