Hi all.

I've been reading this forum for a long time but this is the first time that I write here. I submit a Jupiter image taken the oct. 19 at 19:28 UT from Alicante (Spain). Seeing was very variable but there were moments with very good seeing. Is the first time that I can image a moon disk, in this case moon Ío. It's very small but it's there.

I used for it an Orion 150 maksutov cassegrain, at f/28. DMK21AU04 CCD with Orion RGB filters.

I hope you like the shot.

Greetings to all.

:welcome: to IIS Luismi!

That is a cracking good pic to open your account here!

Well done, from a 150mm Mak, I think that is truly excellent!

Cheers

Chris

:welcome:Hi Luismi,
What a very nice image for your first post to IIS, especially considering the aperture of your scope.

Well done and look forward to more of your work.
Regards
Trevor

Thanks to all for your replies.

It's true that this mak works fine, but the proximity of Jupiter this year also helps.

I'll continue working and posting new images.

Regards from Spain.
