I know it's dangerous, but I'm going to make a statement first in bold, which it seems those who don't agree with me will ignore and then push their own agenda...

This is not about the locking of a certain thread!

It's about the behaviour of certain forum members. If you don't like that a topic is being discussed, openly and rationally (for the most part) then instead of ignoring it, or even better contributing to the forum like an adult, jump on and post some deliberately inflammatory remarks that will ensure that the thread gets locked.

Censorship by stealth, the should apologise, here is the thread to do so.

Not holding my breath waiting for the apology though.

Sorry Stuart, this isn't the place to openly air your grievances with any forum members.

I suggest you contact them via PM and discuss it with them.

I can understand your point of view, and it's unfortunate the thread had to be locked but after 100 posts I think all sides had had their say anyway.

Your thread title is also quite misleading and designed to incite reaction. I'm locking this now. viva le freedom of speech :)
