Pretty well jetted out but I had a 3 min opportunity to capture one AVI during a lull.
3X barlow & reduced in size.

Your seeing was better than mine John. Nice detail in both images.

Very nice... Too much work to set up every night for me, especially as work interferes .
I mentioned to the missus that I could use more aperture... All I got was a long, hard look. Run out of brownie points I guess .

Lovelly as usual John. There are many Jupiter posts but this one with Callisto to me has a nice perpsective about it.
Would you recommend the DBK for this type of work? I'm keen to get my hands on a good CCD after spending some time on the 40D liveview stacking.
Cheers,
Darrin...

Very sharp, and the color is really great. Excellent processing!

It looks like you captured Red Jr. in the upper right corner of the image; the GRS must be just out of view. Now that the GRS and Red Jr. are diverging I believe that's the first time I've seen that (if I'm correct in my interpretation).

Thanks guys.
Darrin: Yes, the DBK is a nice little camera. I'd recommend the DBK as the cheapest, mid range camera.
Peter, the GRS & red jr. have already passed one another without 'incident' but you are correct, that is jr. coming around the corner.
