Finally the weather up here improved last night so after a bit of stuffing around I decided to give NGC253 a try. This image is 59x2min subs using the QHY8 and 10" Newt.
I had a lot of trouble with the processing but still good to get out there again.
Comments welcome.

are you shooting with a light pollution filter Peter? I find them very hard to colour balance

Thanks for the comments. I was thinking it was a bit yellow also. Dave I don't use a LP filter - it's just the way I processed it to try to avoid the green cast. I'll have another try!.

253 always looks to me like one of the classic 'island in space' galaxies. Nicely done and yes may be a bit yellow but its better than the dreaded green cast that you get from streelights.

Excellent effort, yet again, Peter.
Although, agree with Trevor, 2 minutes is too short.
Also, I don't mind the yellow version.

Great work Peter. Curious why you picked 2 mins? Certainly detail is clear, particularly those wonderful dust lanes

Rob,
It was the first image I'd attempted in a long time and the wind was blowing quite hard early on so I didn't want to waste my time taking long exposures to find them all shaken by the wind. Later in the evening it got better so I switched to longer subs.
Peter.
