Snow forecast

Yep, here we are in Spring, with winter behind us, and the forecast for here tomorrow (Saturday) is Snow!!!

Last night we had torrential rain causing massive flooding, it's been freezing all day, it's even 'freezier' now (if that's a real word) and then tomorrow Snow!

It didn't snow here all winter this year (well, only little bits) and now this :cold:

I can see mt Donna Buang from my house and the ridge joining Ben Cairn, light dusting of snow down to about 900m.

My daughter was in bathurst for a school excursion yesterday and they had to cut the day short as the weather turned for the worst. It got very cold, windy, rainy and almost snowed. :windy::cold:

Some snow in Hobart (http://www.rosebay.tased.edu.au/camera.htm) too but that's not unusual at this time of year.

Snow and blizzard conditions here today. Very strong winds. Its quite unusual to have snow coming from the northwest!

This morning was a new record for my weather station: -8.5°C wind chill. Currently -1.5°C outside, wind chill -6.7°C.

It feels a little wintry this morning.
Clear crisp skies and blowing a gale.
Wind will drop this afternoon leaving us with the best observing weather in months.

I can't believe how cold it is here. I think this has been the coldest last couple of days, even freezier (Ken :lol:) than the freeziest days we had all winter!!!
I have never had the heater turned up so high and keep putting my hand over the ducts to check if it's still working.
