Lots of dust and a few vdB and HH objects. Nice "coffee" color in the denser clouds.

Yet another superb image, there certainly appears to be a lot happening in the central area, patches of activity revealing from the centre of the dust cloud.
This is the kind of images that inspire me to keep trying to do better.:thumbsup:

Very Pretty
Both are great but I think I like the old version best

wonderful view - and the two regions are very intriguing with the subtle blue hues and details, but man that dust...

Another wondeful shot of a very dusty area. I really like the older close up shot. Very interesting object.

Came back for another look as it seems I missed the close up. Whilst the close up has wonderful detail, I like the wider view, i have looked at it several times and just love the 3d appearance of the dust..... I've got to image some of this dusty stuff, just wish this object had a southern sky easy access. Keep showing us your work Tom, it's top stuff.

A wonderful image. I am surprised you got such good resolution and no noise in the dust areas. That was the weak area for me using an STL11000CM.
When do we see 1st light for the AP Astrograph?

The STL11kCM is an excellent camera that is under utilized IMO. No star halos either since there are no filters! But you are correct in that one must get a lot of data and process that data in a way to not have noise.
I'm still waiting for some adapters for the Honders.

Thanks Tom for a great image.
I looked at part of NGC 1333 a couple of years back.

Very nice Tom. Your lust for dust accounts for your knick name I heard while talking to john Davis http://downthewormhole.blogspot.com/ while he was visiting Australia . He refered to you as the hoover of astrophotography. He was right.
Lovely as usual.
