Experimenting with astrophotography in our backyard, we set the camera to take a 15-second exposure. As soon as we hit the button, a helicopter with a bright flashing light on it appeared...

basically west, I think. We got a couple of what I think were acceptable pics of the Lagoon, where "acceptable" relates to "from inner city Melbourne with a streetlight next door on our first attempt"! I've got them up at my blog; certainly not worth putting up here.
