My missus was rummaging around and found a box in the closet... and when I looked inside.. oh my... "Is that disco music I hear?" ..

Enclosed (all circa mid-70's):

1 - Canon FTb-N camera
1 - Vivitar Automatic Tele Converter FL-FD 2X-4 Made in Japan (all the Canon FD lenses are with my wifes Canon AV-1)
1 - Meade Camera Adapter (made in Japan) with a T-mount for the Canon (amazing how this adapter hasn't changed in decades... still the same)
1 - Meade MA12mm Illuminated Reticle Eyepiece with a little red light bulb (as in real bulb)
1 - Battery pack for above (before LED's lamps obviously, the powerpack is the size of a pack of smokes)
1 - 6x30mm Spotting Scope from my Criterion RV-6 (have no idea why I took it off the scope).
1 - Declination pointer off the RV-6 (honestly, I must be stupid or something, what was I going to do with that?)
1 - 0.975" eyepiece tube (lower half only... no idea so don't ask)...
2 - Shutter cable releases

I know my RV-6 is collecting dust in Missouri (recent discovery of my oldest son), obviously with missing parts... I used to shoot Astrophoto's in the mid-70's (TriMax film, pushed to ASA800-ASA1600) when I was a teenager, thus the equipment. My best shots were of Comet West in 1976. Have no idea where the photos are, but I am positive the negatives are still in a box in the USA.

Oh... and last, but not least... I found a little events calendar that I used to request from California every Thanksgiving time so I could receive it before the new year.

That was the year I got my first scope (60mm refractor). I wish I'd had access to such detailed planet finder info!

That was the year I started work with the PMG.

I noticed on the bottom of the leaflet that it says "Copyright 1975", you had better hope they don't take you to court!

Avid reader of S&T at the time... their adverts always drew me to call or write for "freebies", which were plentiful in the 70's...

Ha ha ha... didn't even think about it... but I think I'm safe...
