tried some more settings tonight with better results, one through the Zenithstar and one with the LX200@ F/6.3.

Excellent shots for a security camera!!! :thumbsup:
Must look good wired through to your TV instead of a small computer screen.
Nice to know even the Moon is under security video surviellance :lol:

it is so great, we have lumera's, dragonflys, all the big canon ranges, toucam, lpi's, video cameras, security cameras, kodaks & box brownies all putting out great astro shots!!

With the zenithstar shot were you using any filtering to reduce chromatic abberation or was is "as is"?

just a normal moon filter Robert, l'm trying a lot of different things to cut down the intense light the camera picks up.

Hi Mick, you might find a plain red coloured filter (with video set to B&W) will greatly reduce the light and also the effects of chromatic abberation and even seeing.

Well done mick....it is a challenge with such a sensative camera not to over expose on bright targets.
