Can't sleep, can't believe the excitment in processing images. Managed to capture a reasonable oone of Uranus. DSLR live view recorded nearly 3000 frames.

This one is only 200% larger than original.

At least with these images they either pass or fail. I think i could call it a pass.

certainly a pass if I got a shot like this!
Still trying myself!

Well done Malcolm, yep, planetary imaging is addictive.
I see a lot more of this in your future.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I have other sequences to process but the results showed me poor seeing. Tried moon and Jupiter shots all of which are jumping all over the place.

I am working on slowing down my scope to improve turbulence in theory.

The DSLR live view recording was very noisy so i will have to wait for the CCD to to arrive before trying again.

Now that is a sharp result with good accurate colour.
