Ive been tweeking the 10" F3.5 ( moved fltener closer to focus and redid the " clipectomy on the mirror )and seem to be getting slightly better images these are the latest .
I've over done the PS work on the RGB shot but shows up some nice detail.
LRGB shot was total 90 min RGB 50min with the ST2000 the seeing was a bit rough should be good on better night.

Great images there astroby. In the second one, the sky background look a little "plastic" - so I agree with you, maybe a tad over processed?

Cheers

Impressive AB.

There seems to be quite a few hot pixels in both shots. Could you explain why, as I would imagine that you would have subtracked darks during processing. :confuse2:

I've just realized what is causing the red hot pixels I shoot the reds for 10min each and everything else at 5 , the software should sort it out but obviously dosn't.
mmm back to the drawing board.:confuse3:

Very nice work AstroBoy,

I find that you just have to play around with the levels and if you persist you'll get what you're after.

Thanks for sharing.

Oh is the second one the same as the first but levels adjusted in PS?
