Last Friday night under horrendous seeing we managed to take this sequence of a double shadow transit. This was only visible for the East coast of the United States. Several other amateurs posted shots on ALPO but they started photographing after the event had passed. Hence Gail and I have the only posted shots of this event so far. Note how the shadow nearly missed striking Jupiter.

One for the 'imaging scrapbook' despite the crook seeing Dave & Gail.

Congratulations Dave & Gail,

Certainly a data set to reflect on and an excellent example of how scientifically interesting data can be captured in less than optimal conditions.

Well done
Regards
Trevor
