Just testing the EQ6 after adjustments.
Only 140 minutes Luminance after setting up at 1 am after i came back from a party
Luminance is 20 minutes each taken with the QHY9.
Just levels and curves at this moment (need to do it proper later in the year).

Very nice beginning of a super image Martin. Haven't seen much of your work lately. Looking forward to the colour version. All the best.

Martin,
You're on a winner here. Excellent detail and the Flame is very pronounced.
Think you need to take some flats, though!
Good to see you imaging again. It's been months for me.

I love it Martin, really fine start after the long weather absence!
Although I will warn you, I picked up a new toy today, so that's the end of the good conditions!!!!!!!!!

Martin,
I'm not telling you what my new toy is, but the wife knows about it, just doesn't seem interested, only comment for that side of the bedroom,,,,
"why would you buy a black and white camera when you've already got a color one?"
Clouds all the way through to snake valley, count on it!

That is an excellent result and the Flame has come out well with a massive expanse of gas.
John.
Aha!! It is an QHY9 :welcome: to the club.
Thank you John :)
The flame looks pretty good, and even visible through the starglow.
I hate those bright stars (hard to keep them in control).

Great shot, nice and sharp, lots of detail. Bit of star elongation top to bottom, but you have to zoom in to the max to pick it up.
Geoff
Thank you Geoff :)
I noticed the small elongation too when enlarged.

Nice one Martin, Loads of detail and you have tamed Alnitak very well without screwing up the entire image. Well done.
