Look down to the left! Unfortunately we have cloud so I cannot see the Sun looking like this! :D

Yeah! I noticed that too before I logged in. It hasn't changed after I logged in.

This is the third time I've logged in today. I can't remember what it looked like the first two times.

It could be the mysterious brown dwarf companion to the sun. ;) ;)

Perhaps the Moon is really a cube?

Perhaps it was just a bit down, (spots will do that to you).

Look at the SOHO MDI Continuum sequence (click on More 512×512 (http://sohodata.nascom.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/data_query_search_url?Session=web&Resolution=2&Display=Images&NumImg=30&Types=instrument=MDI:obs_type=Conti nuum) ) and you'll see the odd frame from this morning.

And page up and down and you get a (sort-of) animation! :)

If that's not rock solid evidence of a spaceship flying between the Sun and the imaging camera I dont know what is.

Actually I don't really know what is...or would be...

Must have been a dust cloud pass between Earth and SOHO - darkened the data during part of the download?

It was OK yesterday arvo but it's back again this morning. Whatever is causing it must be in orbit. I conclude it's a micro-alien ship in orbit around SOHO. It's the only logical explanation. ;)

I've always felt the Moon is upside down. It looks like it's waxing at the moment yet it should be waning. I know it could look like that in a low power Newtonian reflector, but not every one uses a reflector yet, without a telescope, every one looks at the Moon standing upright without tilting their head over their back.
