Iphone Starmap help

Hi

My Fathe rin Law is over visiting from the UK. He has Starmap on his Iphone but its obviously set to the Northern Hemisphere.
I've tried chaning to the SH, but it just doesn't seem to work


can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Tap 'Location', then tap the circle icon at top right to have the phone determine your location.
Alernatively, tap 'cities' and then type a city name. If the city is in the database it will appear in the list below the search box. Then just tap the city. I'm not sure how complete the database is for southern hemisphere cities, but I had no trouble with 'Sydney'.

Thanks for the reply, we did the city thing and selected Sydney, but it still showed the sun up in sky with mars and venus close by at 21:00.

:screwy: Where is Chris or H they are the IPhone gurus around here :lol::lol: looks like a cool program, i wonder if i can get that app for my Nokia N97 ;)

Might be the Date & Time not set properly. This catches me out every now and then. Make sure it's set to "Now" or whatever time you want to look at.
