White Faced Herrons

Again, spent some time on the roof with the 20Da attached to the WO ZS80.

Better focus this time but i think i processed the contrast a tad too much

Anyhow...
Here's a pic of one of the 2 Herons (i'm guessing the male) returning to the nest, a chick has just raised his/her head in anticipation.

I was using a William Optics ZS 80mm wiith over 500mm focal length
but i could crop it more (the compression doesn't do justice to the detail) but then I wont be able to frame the Heron flying in on the right?
