I took a better look at images after downloading and enlarging them..
It seems it's not possible to set the latitude, and the rotation is around vertical axis only (vertical post with lamp in the middle of the cradle is visible on one of the images).

Decorative and hypnotic, yes.. but that's all...

It's identical to the one I purchased for my grandson last Christmas. It was a waste of money. It wasn't possible to get focus in the room, if I remember correctly focus was about half a meter from the globe.
Grandson lost interest in 5 minutes
