I went up to Ayers Rock for a wedding related photoshoot, here are my tourist happy snaps whilst there.

My favourite is the shot of Ayres rock bathed in twilight.

Gosh, how many stars can you see in that night time shot!

I have to get my rear end out there some day.

I was planning to do some really long exposures pointed at the pole but never got a clear night :(

In the brief patches of clear sky between clouds (and I mean very brief, the clouds moved at serious speed) the amount you could see was staggering, and the sky was such a velvet black.

Absolutely fantastic collection there. Really enjoyed all of them. Brought back memories of my trip, and must get back there. This time I'll be prepared for the flies....
