Hi All,
Well, not a cloud in sight and a favorable jetstream for this quite significant opposition.
Imaged Jupiter from 12:11 to 15:40 UTC with RGB & 807nm IR data sets at approx 30 min intervals. Have 7 sets of RGB & 807nm IR data.
The seeing was good, a most consistent 7/10 for the whole session.
Have excellent coverage of the transit of the GRS & oval BA.
Things are looking good for tonight as well.
Thanks for looking
Regards
Trevor

I'm glad your finally getting some good nights Trevor.
Brilliant images. You must be working like a machine to get them all.

Thanks Troy
Thanks Freddy
Thanks Michaell, yes, very time consuming processing 16 bit FIT data and it takes just as long to process the ordinary data as it does the good data. Had 66.3 Gb of data from Sept 21st alone.

Another good set especially the IR, what frame rate for the 807nm with the F3 as its so sensitive in IR and not had a chance to use mine yet?
A bit dawnting all those individual Fits files, I was thinking of one Ser file?
Missed the opposition with weather in Bris, cloud just won't go away so starting to get bored and looks bad for rest of Sept!
Regards, John.

John, I'm not hearing what you just said about the rest of September...;-)
Nice ones Trevor! Cheers for the views once again.

Thanks Trevor!
Nothing but clouds here in Brisbane - you are keeping me well and truly up to date!
Thanks Trevor, excellent images.

Thanks John, I am running my IR at 25 fps for 60 sec's and have been stacking the best 1000 frames.
Thanks John, looks like next week the jet will swing back south so maybe it might improve for you, good luck with it.
Thanks Matt, tonight is looking good as well.
Thanks very much Bird.

Top work Trevor.
I like the way the red spot vanishes in IR

Thanks Mike, yep, reckon it is most interesting to compare the view at different wavelengths, it is good to blink RGB & IR pairs of images, Oval BA and the other anticyclones are very bright in IR and when blinked with a RGB pair they really stand out.
