Jupiter on Sept 18 2010

I amended my image from yesterday because I re-processed that image at a higher level of quality quality.

The first image below is Jupiter on Sept 18 2010 at 2:49 AM EDT from Baltimore, Maryland.

The second image is my first attempt to capture a Jovian Moon, Io. I used it to adjust my focus on Jupiter.

A better result for sure Peter,

Planetary imaging can have a pretty steep learning curve but there are some excellent tutorials that can help.
On this site there are a couple by Mike Salway and both Paul Haese and Anthony Wesley have very informative tutes that are out there.
