Here are some images of Saturn taken last year. I have been experimenting with different settings so some are not so great but I have been learning a lot with every image.
Early on I was experimenting with a lower gain setting but, because my exposure setting was too short, all I got was noisy, underexposed images!
In later images I have used a longer exposure time and got a better result - though at a quarter of a second the seeing would have to be very good to get great results.
Comments are welcome.

Saturn is a very hard target, I can tell you that. I have found that of all the planets that I image it most often looks great in the eyepiece but seldom gives great photographic results. Keep trying, you are very near to a breakthrough. Try not to overprocess your images.
Keep em coming.

Hey Adam, your starting to get some great results there. What setting were you using?
It looks to me like you have the offset a lil high with the white point under the
histogram set a lil low. I think this is why your Saturn disc take on a squared look.
From memory I usually leave the white point set all the way to the right and offset
around the 40-45% mark. Dont be too surprised if it looks a lil soft on screen, just
apply the medium edge filter, and your can sharpen it up in in post processing.
