Comet Observations 28th to 31st August 2010

2P/ Encke

2010 Sep 02.36 UT; m1= 9.9; Dia= 4.2’; DC= 3/4; 25cm L, f:5 (x39)
Coma appears elongated to SE, no tail, fading twilight.
Comp Star= TYC 5542-426-1; Method= S; Cat= TJ

2010 Sep 06.36UT; m1= 11.0; Dia= 4.2’; DC= 2/3; 25cm L, f:5 (x39)
No tail, coma more diffuse in central condensation.
