Hi all!!

I just thought I'd post a thread as I'm EXTREMELY excited!!

Right at this very minute, as I type, I have some bits and pieces winging their way from Honkers which will basically finish off my imaging train.

Coming are one Baader MPCC, a Baader 2" UHC-S filter and a 1.25" UV/IR. So now I have no excuses when it comes to my images. No more "coma problems". No more "it was swamped with artificial light". Just damn good images (I hope) and I just can't wait!!! :D

Cheers,
Mario

PS The finance department at home was sick early this week so it proved an opportune time to broach the subject of these purchases. "I'm too sick to fight, just do it" "Are you sure?" "Do it - I could change my mind!!" "OK, if you insist!!" You've just got to love her!!

Congratulations Mario - I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun getting those new acquisitions functioning well. They should let you tackle lots more from Brissy for sure.

Hope you're wife fights the bugs off soon too.

Mario,

Let me know how you go with the MPCC as I am moving towards getting one for my 8" Newt. I haven't been game enough to try prime on a deep space object yet.:ashamed:

Keep that finance department in check and if in doubt, use the ol "exchange rate" due to the GFC as a great excuse for any "acquisitions"!!

Good luck with the new gear!

Darrin...

I'm excited for you Mario! Congratulations.

Sieze every weak opportune moment and go for it and don't apologise Mario! Got your list ready for when she gets sick next?! Thanks for the idea by the way, I'll go work on my list now and start breathing on hubby really hard (after I've found some children to be around).

Hi Mario

Hehehe love your method..Even if my better half is sick, I can't get away with that approach. I must say I love your style!. Now that you have a mpcc keep a close eye out for vignetting, a flat light box maybe your next purchase, or if you have photoshop it could remove the problem too. I just cant figure out how to do it under Photoshop yet!
Can't wait to see your next photos
Best Regards Paul.
