one HD

Anyone having probs with one HD and chanel 10 picture & sound breaking up? We've had problems since inception, must be 12 months since it went to air. No problems with all the other free to air chanels. (Samsung LCD built in HD tuners) Input welcome, advice accepted, payment not offered as water bill just been paid! :mad2:

1 HD is one of the strong channels in my area and never gives any bother but I have trouble with 2 and 7 particularlly in bad weather. I have four different sets and tuners that all exhibit the same results. I am in an outer Sydney suburb about 25KM from the transmitters with an outside aerial and masthead amplifier. There is no signal at all from an indoor aerial on digital and only a very noisy signal on analogue.

Digital transmissions are more noticeably affected by signal strength and quality than the old analogue signal which just gets a bit more noisy. It can drop right out of sync even to the dreaded blue screen. You may need a better aerial and masthead amplifier to get a more reliable signal.

I had a look at your terrain on Google Earth and it does not look good for digital TV.

Yeah - I have troubles with SBS2 and 7 - we have more choices today but the quality of a consistent image is a problem.
