AAAARRRGHHH!!!!!!!
so freakin annoyed - It's clear here now, and will be all night....one FREAKING day too early....as I have Thursday offf. And I had LAST WEEK OFF! It is just pathetic. IT PICKED THE WRONG BLOODY CHEEWWSSSDAY TO BE CLEAR :mad2: AND it's a mere 24 bloody hours or 60,000sumfink seconds too early because Wed night would be betta electrical for me as I have Fursday offf!!!!

Got the scope out last night with no moon...must be first time in months...Wouldn't you know my finders were out of adjustment and focus off...by the time I got these sorted, too tired to photograph. Friday night may be promising?

Was very good here last night, knew I had to take advantage because of the forecast. Even pointed the scope at Uranus
Yep did the Helix first and then just let it rip on NGC253 for the rest of the night :)
This morning it was still snapping shots of the morning sky :P
Huh what is a meridian flip

Was great here last night.
I did a 'Live' astro broadcast from 9:00pm right through till 4:00am when I had to stop due to fog coming in. Only had a few small light fog patches during the whole night.
Was good to see a few of you drop in and say Hi :)
Seemed strange seeing the stars again

According the the forecast, Friday night looks promising for a continuation of this diahorrea orgy of a winter.
I am still spewing over last night, inconcievable.
1 day too early, exactly 1 week too late. Yucky mucky poo :mad2:
Went to bed .. .clear, woke up at 5.30am ... clear, thought I was gonna freaking arrest.

Yeah, particularly it being my last day at uni for the week. If it occured 24 hours later (i.e. TODAY), or 168 hours earlier (i.e. LAST CHEWSDAY DURING A WEEK BREAK) I'd be outside this flipping moment . What a king hit in the kid factory.

Sky was absolutely magic earlier on so I quickly set up and did a broadcast.
Had several Americans and Poms looking in, and saw a few from in here too
Then all of a sudden the cloud came and ended it all :(
Oh well, I got a few hours in :P

Don't think there was any clear sky here last night, which is probably just as well as I was blasted. Was hoping for tonight but the satpic looks like a bucket of baby vomit.

Beautiful weather here at the moment. No clouds in the sky a gentle breeze. The ground is so water logged I can't walk in someplace in the yard I end up sinking upto my ankles in mud. Not game to setup the scope cause I might loose it in the mud.

Sorry for all you guys with 100% cloud or waterlogged.
Sydney had excellent skies on both Friday and Saturday - at least here in the northwest.
I did find a new use for my heat gun. Trying to keep the corrector clear on the C8. The dew shield needs modification to fit with the Losmandy dovetail so I couldn't use it.

Excuse me cumulus, I would appreciate it very much if you would dissipate at a rapid pace, ideally before sunset. Kind regards, annoyed star gazer.

I have a little bit to do with the oil and gas industry around Roma and have been advised by their weather people that they are evacuating non essential personnel from some of their sites as they are expecting 6 - 8 inches of rain this weekend. Last time they predicted lots of rain Roma flooded :help::help:
