It's been so long! Sob!:(
Didn't do much, nabbed Uranus and Neptune, a few globs around capricorn (M30, M72 and M15) gawped at the Helix and Bug nebs, tried out the new EP (34mm Meade 4000 68 deg) on the Tarantula and 47 tuc. Only one new ob NGC 7448 in Peg, nice little mag 11.6 spiral, so I'm happy. Nice to get back to star hopping after so many weeks.

Good to see that you were able to grab some observing. Sounds like a reasonable haul under current circumstances. I had about 45 minutes of cloud dodging last night and ended up with only Vega and M57 visible as the cloud combined rapidly to squeeze me out. The fading of M57 in the eyepiece was very sad.

Definately a good catch in these appauling conditions.
Tonight is clear, but it's one night too early for me as I'm off on Thursday, or one week too late as all last week I was off, naturally :mad2:

AAAARGH!
Got home at 9-30pm, clear sky, put scope outr to cool down a bit while I had a bite and a coffee. Went out and setup, still lovely and clear at 10pm, once all the EPs out, dew comtroller plugged in and checked, looked up at 10-10pm and ...... you know the rest!
Edit: 11-30pm, clear again, got in half an hour with only average dark adaption, managed to get NGC7814 (Gx in Pegasus and Caldwell 43) and nice look at Jupiter. J is looking the best I have ever seen, lots of detail, even managed to spy the GRS for he first time.
