Hi all!!

Well using the information that was in the DSS tutorial link that I found on the web (see Max's thread), I restacked my M20 & M11 from last Friday night. I then did the processing as suggested in the tutorial within DSS before saving the final TIF file.

The images that I then took from DSS into Photoshop were way, way, way easier to work with!! When I'd first attempted processing M11 I'd thrown my hands up in despair. This time I'm happy enough with the results that I'm going to post my Wild Duck cluster as well as a rework of the Trifid Nebula. All images are 2 minute subs with associated darks at ISO800. M11 was 4 subs while M20 was 12 subs.

I love this passion that I have for astrophotography. I'm forever learning new things, imaging new things, discovering new things! How good is that!!!

Cheers,
Mario

I remember the first trifid you´ve posted as somewhat unrecognisable.
Well done!
