Got a few RGB tonight through the FS60. Still sitting on M8-M20 though.

I was keen to find out what detail this little scope can see and it doesn't look too bad, content wise, considering the short subs and where it was shot from. I was keen to see how much of M20 it could get. RGB only, no L or Ha or anything else yet.

I had to refocus between filters so I'm not sure what is happening there, these filters have alway been parfocal in all my other scopes and I'll pull it apart tomorrow to make sure everything is seated properly. That wasted a couple of hours worth but lucky I checked it :)

I also see some eggy stars in the corners so my distances on this qhy wheel aren't as good as the starlight NB wheel.

I managed 6xRed, 10xGreen and 11xBlue. All 5 minute subs binned 1x1 = 2.25 Hours no flats yet.

Just goes to show you don't need a big scope to have a good time.
Any chance you can elaborate on the focus due to the different wheels and what the problem may be.

That's very close to Sky-90 output Robin. Pretty good really. Stars are tight, that's for sure. Nice.

At 3 arcsec/pix it would be hard to stuff up the stars, but not impossible for me :P

Flats were a disaster, I can't turn the lightbox down far enough so I've got shutter artifacts on all of them. I guess a new box is the go, balancing the 10" box on top of this thing is just cruel :lol:

Still no idea why the filters are not parfocal on this scope. They are all seated properly and I just put an eyepiece on the flattener and the stars look fine. Not a huge deal but .....:shrug:

Superb image Robin, I have seen this scope perform before and it is always excellent and great for Milkyway.

This little scope has surprised me John and it beats trying to get a camera lens at the right distance :)
I've since discovered that there was no dec guiding running on that image :P
