Hi All,

Imaged Jup this morning in reasonable seeing, a pretty steady 6/10.
Captured data over a 100 min session, have 7 RGB's and & 7 807nm IR images. Each RGB & IR data set was captured at approx 30 min intervals.

Have some very fine detail in IR and some reasonable RGB's. Was able to image the two white ovals that will either merge or maybe slip past one another in the NEB. For this particular image I have included a 120% insert of the 2 ovals.

Looks like I will be capturing data tonight as well, which will be the first time in a long time I have had a reasonable run with my imaging.

I will attach my RGB's to this post with my IR images in a reply as I can only attach 8 images.

Thanks for looking
Regards
Trevor

Another terrific session Trevor!
A touch better seeing than the previous session?
Thanks for the images!

Thanks Trev, another good set of images there - hopefully things are looking up seeing-wise for the next few days.

cheers, Bird

Thanks for the views Trevor, they are wonderful. I am a chance tonight after many days of cloud. All the best.

Thanks Matt, reckon I am on a bit of a roll, if the seeing keeps improveing each night, at the current rate by the end of the week it will be Bonza.

Thanks Marc.

Yep, thing are looking up Bird, on both sides of the continent.

Thanks Lester, yep, all of the charts are looking good, go for it.

Nice work Trevor. The first image looks to be the pick of the bunch. Right now I would be happy to take that sort of seeing.

Looking great Trev.
Was going to ring you today.
I will be in Adelaide this week for some R&R.
Looking at observing next sat night.
Cheers Kev.

Incredible shots and wonderfully presented. Great camera/scope, great processing, great astronomer! :)

These are even better, the first RGB and IR are the best, the finest IR detail I have seen - splendid session Trevor.

Well done for both sets of images Trevor. Glad to see your getting some reasonable seeing.

Cheers

All good times.
Congratulations, if I had one point more 'of seeing, would come masterpieces.

Great set of images. The IR data works really well, hilighting hidden details that I can then see in the RGB image.

Thanks Paul, Aug 29th was a bit better and I was able to get some very hi res IR images of the merger.

Thanks Kev, for sure, it would be great to catch up, look forward to it.

Thanks Rob for your very kind words.

Thanks John, but Aug 29th was better. Marginally better for RGB but the old 807nm IR Planet Killer was really humming and produced some very hi res data of the merger.

Thanks for your comment John.

Thanks David glad you liked them.

Thanks very much saturnino, for sure seeing is King and just so vital to planetary imaging. Reckon we could all use better some seeing.

Thanks Michaell, yep the old IR sure can be a savior in conditions like this.
