Well after 2 mths since i got this prostar and all the crappy weather we have had i finally got to use this scope ,going from a newtonion to a refractor was a bit of a learning curve first go to i did a massive cord wrap on my new dew controller jamming the scope ,then the gps would not work ,also trying out the moonlite focuser which i have never used before.but was very pleased with. the moon rising i thought i would give a new astronmik cls filter a go and do a couple of shots at 10 min something unheared of in newcastle light pollution .so after bumbling around the scope i did 2x10 min shots iso800 cannon cooled 40d then some quick processing in pixinsight

Nice bumble Alan, this is pretty low in the sky really so that makes it even better considering

That's a great start. A very pleasing image for so short a total exposure time.

Lovely image Alan!
Nice tight stars and good processing.
Good you finally got a clear night out with the new scope.
Looks like a performer so I'd say you'd be very pleased.

All the best
Rich
